New technology in photography

Photosynth Technology :

With the advancement in technology, new techniques in photography are prominent. The Photosynth technology would be at the top of the list. An important thing to be noted here is that photosynth does not use a video but a collection of photographs. All photographs are linked to each other. Here is an illustration of Photosynth. Find out why photosynth is so different :

Microsoft ICE Technology:

Microsoft ICE (Image Composite Editor) is an easy way for photo stitching. That which Adobe Photoshop takes 10 minutes to do will be ready with ICE in 2 minutes. Just like Photosynth, ICE requires a collection of photographs. But, from the photographer's end, I would say that Microsoft ICE is just the opposite to that of Photosynth. This is because Photosynth needs photographs of an object taken from different positions. However, Microsoft ICE needs photos taken from one single location. All the photos will be then stitched and made into a panorama. Here I have created a panorama with the help of Microsoft ICE. The attractive look of the photographs can be displayed with the amazing 3D environment. All you have to do is to upload your panorama into Pano2VR which is another program that helps us achieve this final look. Here is another work by me in its full effect with the combined effort of Microsoft ICE and Pano2VR :

My New Lap - Dell XPS 14

Compare Dell and Lenovo Laptops

Now I should really say, this is one amazing laptop. Once when my lenovo Y510 got fried, i learned from that mistake about the things that I should have in my mind when I buy a laptop.

Let me tell you about the problems that I faced with Lenovo.
Firstly, over heating : this is something you should be really careful. See if the laptop has got proper air circulation within. XPS 14 remains chilled even after a full stretch of 16 hrs gameplay. There wouldn't be any heat produced in the laptop surface except for the exhaust vent.

Second problem I faced was terrible battery backup : I bought a 6 cell battery for my Y 510; which gave a 3 hr backup in the initial stages. This kept dripping terribly and within a year, I got a 10 mins battery backup. I would not completely blame Lenovo for this. There is mistake from my side as well. I could have got a better battery life if I would have properly charged and discharged the battery. Now i understand not to use laptop with AC power supply continously.
Windows 7 has got a wonderful feature to disable battery charging once when the battery is full. So now I am cautious about this.

Next is nothing but the biggest problem I faced :
I had a Nvidia 8400 card with 128 mb memory. This was pretty less, however due to over heating this got fried. Now XPS 14 comes with Nvidia GT425 M card with 2 gb memory.

Processor : Intel Core i7 Quadra core system of 1.73GHz and with turbo boost technology, it takes upto 2.90 GHz. Runs on Windows 7 x64 environment.

The laptop has got a DDR3 RAM with 4GB memory. COD Black Ops runs smoothly with Direct X 11 support and Nvidia tesselation is remarkable.

The widescreen LED display with true life brings picture to a reality with crystal clarity.
USB 3.0 helps me in super fast data transfer to my external hard drive. Has also got HDMI/DVI output. I also get nearly 30 m coverage of wifi signal.

I would proudly suggest Dell XPS 14 to everyone.

Study on orbs

Orbs

Orbs usually are spheres that appear to be in different sizes, colors, and opacity. They appear in photographs and are alleged by some to be a form of basic spirit energy in the genesis of manifestation.

It is nearly impossible to be seen with the naked eye. The paranormal study has discussed about orbs and explained about the unusual phenomenon of digital photography. Appearance of orbs in hundreds of photographs can be explained as a “proof” of the existence of ghosts and the supernatural.

Often the photographs with orbs were taken in locations, the vast majority of orb photographs have originated with groups of avid “ghost hunters,” hobbyists, really, during eager “investigations” in cemeteries throughout the hills, plains, and backwaters of the UK, Europe and the United States. Occasionally, and with increasing frequency, it might be noted, orbs have appeared in photographs taken at other locations with no connection whatsoever to hauntings, such as the homes and workplaces of these intrepid paranormal enthusiasts. These orb manifestations have been just as eagerly documented and often generate a proliferation of initial excitement among the enthusiastic little groups involved – surely, they insist, this is only further proof of the existence of ghosts and the supernatural?

Though orbs can be acceptably defined there are different schools of thought on what these bizarre little globules actually are. Many, most especially detractors of the use of digital photography, believe the spheres of light to be merely the presence of debris – dust, pollen, water droplets - on the camera lens or at best the failure of the digital technology to maximize available light (flash or ambient) in particular situations resulting in gapping that appears suspiciously three dimensional in comparison to the remainder of the photograph.
The scientific explanation to these orbs can be seen here in Wikipedia link.
Even here there is a Paranormal interpretation to this phenomenon which is still unexplainable.
All those who have experienced this, believe in this mystery.

A troop on their trip to one of the strangest waterfall found these strange round circles in the snaps they took. They thought it was some water particles or speck on their cam and started cleaning the cam. But even to their best effort, the mysterious circles still persisted.
They said that the speck did not appear when the cam was facing the other side of the waterfall but when the cam was held towards the waterfall, the strange circle reappeared. On googling (google searching), it was found that nearly 12 people died there that year. All among the crew were freaked on hearing about orbs and the unexplainable mystery behind it.

Different color of orbs denote different meaning.
Classic color-symbol interpretation would say that red equates with anger or passion, yellow with honestly, blue with calm and tranquility, purple with royalty or spiritual awareness. This is what i read from different sources. These could be possibly said as an assumption or theory that has no evidence.

One thing that can be stated is that some photo glitches are unexplainable. These could be paranormal in nature. We can thus say that appearance of these unexplainable glitches are due to some reason and couldn't probably be of any coincidence or may be because of something unusual that is going on.
